This opportunity sits within our Medical Devices recruitment division, which provides recruitment services to Medical Devices companies in a number of countries outside the UK, including the DACH region. We already have a German speaker in the team and huge scope exists to expand our service provision in this region and other European countries too.
Resourcers play a vital role in the success of our business. In a nutshell, it is the responsibility of a Resourcer to work alongside the recruitment consultants, helping them to generate candidates (applicants) for the job roles we’re handling. This might include:
- Connecting with people on LinkedIn and encouraging them to look at the job opportunities we’re handling
- Building relationships with candidates on our database and keeping them informed about good career opportunities
- Headhunting people (phoning them up and asking if they’d be open-minded about talking to us about some of the incredible job opportunities we’re handling)
- Reviewing and processing applications
Whilst doing the job of a Resourcer, you will be developing all the essential skills that successful recruitment Consultants need. Some of our best Recruitment Consultants started working for us as Resourcers and they are living proof of our commitment to train and develop our people. Our Operations Director started with us as a Graduate Trainee so the career development potential is very real.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 1 hour break for lunch.
We work internationally, so pretty much all of our work is telephone-based. It’s therefore really important that you’re comfortable spending a good amount of time speaking with people on the phone. You need to be able to speak clearly, confidently and concisely, listen well and build rapport with people.
It’s also important to have a good level of energy, drive and enthusiasm and good IT skills (we use all the latest recruitment technology).
Recruitment is a competitive industry so it’s also important that you enjoy (healthy) competition.

We’re located in the centre of Harrogate, 2 minutes from the train station, 3 minutes from the bus station, opposite Everyman Cinema and Waitrose.
