Job Description

This is a great entry-level training position into the fast-paced and lucrative world of healthcare recruitment consulting. We have a brilliant track record of training and nurturing graduates at their own pace, to become high-performing specialist recruitment consultants. We offer a fantastic, high energy and highly rewarding place to work, with opportunities continually arising to train and progress.

Resourcers play a vital role in the success of our business. In a nutshell, it is the responsibility of a resourcer to work alongside the recruitment consultants, helping them to generate candidates (applicants) for the job roles we’re handling. This might include:

  • Building relationships with candidates on our database and keeping them informed about the opportunities we’re handing
  • Headhunting people (phoning them up and asking if they’d be open-minded about talking to us about some of the incredible job opportunities we’re handling)
  • Reviewing and processing applications

Whilst doing the job of a resourcer, you will be developing all the essential skills that successful recruitment consultants need. Some of our best recruitment consultants started working for us as resourcers and they are living proof of our commitment to training and developing our people. Our operations director also started with us as a graduate trainee.

We work a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday. On two days we work 8:30am-6:30pm and on two days we work 11.00am-8.00pm. On a Friday we work 8:30am-2:30pm.

We work nationally and internationally, so pretty much all of our work is telephone-based. It’s therefore really important that you’re comfortable spending (lots of) time speaking with people on the phone. You need to be able to speak clearly, confidently and concisely, listen well and build rapport with people.

It’s also important to have a good level of energy, drive and enthusiasm and good IT skills. Recruitment is a competitive industry so it’s also important that you enjoy (healthy) competition.

  • A good basic salary
  • Bonuses
  • Flexible perks/benefits
  • An ever-increasing number of holidays
  • Superb training and career progression opportunities
  • A high energy and really supportive office atmosphere (when we get back in to the office!)

We’re located in the centre of Harrogate, 2 minutes from the train station, 3 minutes from the bus station, opposite Everyman Cinema and Waitrose.

Prospect Health is one of the top names in healthcare recruitment in the UK and increasingly internationally. We’re well-established (over 10 years) but still very entrepreneurial. Prior to Lockdown 1 we were growing and breaking records all the time. This has been a challenging year but we’ve navigated the storm well and we’ll come out the other end fantastically well placed to continue growing.
