Our Team here at The Lifeways Group in North Walsham are looking to recruit full and part time support workers in the North Walsham area of Norfolk.
We require dedicated Individuals to work in our residential services supporting adults (18 and over) with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.
The location of this service is stunning with an amazing team who truly support and encourage both colleagues and service users to be the best version of themselves.
We don’t require experience as full training is provided but we are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of the people we support, skills needed include:
Customer service skills, a willingness to learn, understanding of the needs of others, patience and most importantly you must want to assist the people we support by enabling them to live as independently as possible.

Each service user has their own self-contained flat within the service building.
There is also a communal lounge area to meet up and chat with others in as well as a garden to relax in the summer months and do a spot of gardening where preferred.
The service has 17 flats so it’s a busy and exciting environment to be in.
You will support service users with all sorts of different activities including swimming, shopping, going for a coffee, going to the cinema, visiting zoos, clubs etc., so your work will be varied from day to day
You will also be expected to support the service user with general household chores such as cooking and laundry and housework such as hoovering and dusting and in some cases personal care (Assisting with bathing, toileting and feeding).
- Full time 40 Hours per week
- Part-time 14 – 30 Hour per week
- Sessional/Bank hours also available (Flexible working)
Working hours are on a shift pattern rota basis including some weekend working
